Latest Craft

As part of the constant fight with Time to keep my children "little" I decided to immortalize some of their artwork.

I got the idea from Amanda at Soulemama. She's done this twice.

Harrison's is a picture of my parents. Papa is pink, Gramma is red, and Billy the dog is black. This is the first time he signed his name "Harrison." Usually it is "Harry." He did a great job. When I asked him what the scribbles where he said "I don't know" with the indignant tone of "how should I know?"

Iris decided on a garden scene. My favorite is the birds. I love how they have mouths and noses instead of beaks.

I'm not sure if I will turn these into quilted wall hangings like Amanda did, or if I'll frame them. I'm leaning towards framing, although I'm sure that will be more expensive. Which do you prefer?
